person has to deal with at some time or other. Dear Abby will tell you to reply
with “Why do you need to know?” but I say why put a big chip on your shoulder?
Why scare off someone that may know someone that knows a
single person you can share some time with.
We’re not talking romance, you want companionship. A way to
make friends and expand your friendship circle. Getting ‘fixed up’ isn’t
necessary.
So, this is how you respond the next time you’re asked the
question:
“Do you know someone that …. “
Bowls? Likes ‘film noir’? Reads Shakespeare?
Enjoys backward dress day on Saturdays?
Avoid the ‘fix up’ but try to expand your circle of friends.
